 Chapter 6

"They sure love the attention." Said Quinn as he plays with them. "They sure do." Replies Ken as he watches them. "I hope Jim won't find out about them. I am sure he will do something to them." Said Helda to Ken. "I won't let him near them. He isn't allowed at this house at all." Replies Ken as he tells them about the other private eye that been hanging around. "He won't give up." Said Helda to Ken. "I know He doesn't want me to what I am interested in only his." Replies Ken.

"They have to go thru my lawyer. He knows not to give out any information about me or which house I own." Said Ken.  Ken notices his sons have fallen asleep. "We will help you bring them to their beds." Said Quinn as he gets up. "Thanks." Said Ken as he hands one to Mark as they bring them back to their cribs. Few minutes they return to the living room. "How was being pregnant?" Helda asks Ken. "It was weird. I have respect for woman now." Replies Ken. "Will do you do it again?"Quinn asks Ken. "Yes, when my sons are a bit older. One thing I didn't like is the morning sickness." Said Ken. Helda smiles at this. Quinn looks confused. Helda explains what they meant.  "I am sure they will love to have siblings." Said Helda to Ken. Ken nods his head in agreement.  "This town is peaceful not like the cities that I have been." Said Quinn as he sits back down. "I agree.  Do you want to move here?" Helda asks Quinn. "Yes, I love this town." Said Quinn.  Ken smiles at this. "I felt the same way when I saw it as well." Replies Ken.

(Next day.)

"It was a surprise that my mom has a twin sister." Said Ken as he feeds one of his sons. "I agree. She looks like her. I am sure they are identical twins." Replies Mark as he helps Ken with his sons. "I know I want them in my son's lives. Quinn sure loves them already." Said Ken as he heads upstairs to put his son back.  After a few hours Ken and Mark went and tend to the horses. "I am sure we will get some little ones one day." Said Ken as they head back to the house. "I agree. Two are trying." Replies Mark as they enter the house. "I need to do some errands; will you be OK with my sons?" Ken asks Mark.  "Yes I can. I am glad they don't wake up at the same time." Said Mark as Ken gets ready to head out. While Ken was out the door went.  Mark looks thru the window and sees the private eye is there again. Mark refuses to open the door and he calls Ace. "That same private eye is at the door again. This is starting to be a pain now." Said Mark to Ace. "OK, I will be right over." Said Ace as Mark hangs up. Few minutes later Mark hears a noise outside and he went to the window. He watches Ace and the private eye fighting. Ace arrests the private eye and takes him to the car. He returns to Mark. "He can't take the answer no. I am putting him in jail for awhile then I am going to drop him off the airport and make sure he leaves this town for good." Said Ace as he walks back to the car.

(Three hours later.)

Mark looks at the time. "Ken should be back by now." Thought Mark as he looks at the clock. He hears one of the boys crying. He goes upstairs and looks after them. On the way down he hears the phone ringing. He answers it, he talks for awhile then he hangs up.  He is shocked what he heard on the phone. He calls Helda, he talks to her for awhile then he hangs up. He starts walking back and forth waiting for Helda to arrive. Two minutes later Helda and Quinn are there. "We will look after them. Please keep us inform." Said Helda as Mark tells her what he knows. "Will do.  Thanks again." Said Mark as he leaves.

(At the hospital.)

Mark sees Ace standing talking to a doctor. "What happen?" Mark asks Ace as he gets there. "There was a big accident outside of town. I am not too sure how it happens. The driver didn't make it. Ken survived the crash." Replies Ace to Mark. "Ken has some really bad injury." Said the Doctor to Mark. Mark is shock to hear this. "Can I see him?" Mark asks the doctor. "For a bit. Please follow me." Said the doctor as he leads Ace and Mark to Ken's room. They enter. Mark is shock to see Ken like this. "He is awake; we need to put him into an elixirs coma to help him recover. He might need an operation as well." Said the Doctor to Mark. Mark nods his head in agreement. "Ken can you hear me?" Mark asks Ken. Ken opens his eyes and looks at Mark. "You will pull thru this. I know you can. Helda, Quinn and I will look after your sons."Said Mark to Ken. Ken tries to talk but he couldn't. The doctor tells Ken what he needs to do. Ken just looks at him and he tries to nod his head in understanding. "When are you going to put him under?" Mark asks the doctor.  "Now, the sooner the better. Once he is out we can check him over and see what needs to be done." Said the doctor as he works on Ken. Mark and Ace watches as Ken goes under. The doctor puts a tube down Ken's throat so the machine can work.

"How long will he be in this coma?" Mark asks the Doctor. "Hard to say, depends what we find out his injury are." Replies the doctor. "I still wonder what happen." Said Ace. "Ken does, I am sure when he is better he will tell us." Said Mark as he looks at Ken. "You can't do much here. I will keep you inform how he is doing." Said the doctor to Mark. Mark nods his head in agreement and he leaves with Ace. On the way out of the hospital "Do you think Ken was been watched without knowing it?" Mark asks Ace. "You could be right. I am going to question this private eye and see if he knows anything more." Said Ace as he walks to police headquarters. Mark walks back home. It doesn’t take him that long to get home. Helda sees him enter the house. "By the way on your face it isn't good." Said Helda to Mark. Mark tells them what happen to Ken.

"Why would someone want to do that for?" Said Quinn. Mark shrugged his shoulders. "I am hoping Ace can find out the information from that guy." Replies Mark. "I will stay here and help you with his sons." Said Helda to Mark. "Thanks." Replies Mark. They do stuff around the house until the phone rings. Mark went to answer it, he talks for a bit then he hangs up. Helda and Quinn came over to Mark. "That was Ace that called. He talked to the private eye and he has no idea what happened. He only job was tries to bring Ken back." Said Mark.  "I am hoping Ken know who tried to take him." Said Quinn.

(Three weeks went by.)

"I am heading to the hospital to visit Ken for awhile." Said Mark as he gets on his coat and leaves. He walks to the hospital; he enters and heads toward Ken's room. He enters and he sits down and he talks to him about his sons and what is happening in the town. The doctor enters the room.  "How is he doing?" Mark asks the doctor. He tells him how the operation and how he is doing.  "How long is he will be in the coma?" Mark asks the doctor. "Probably tomorrow." replies the doctor.  The doctor explains what is going to happen tomorrow. "Will he need some therapy?"Mark asks the doctor. "Probadly. Once he is awake and strong enough then I will make a call for it." Said the Doctor.

(Next day.)

The Doctor sees Mark enter the room. "He was moving a bit during the night." Said the Doctor to Mark as he sits down. "Do you think he will come around today?" Mark asks the Doctor. "I think so. He will have to stay here until he is stronger." Replies the Doctor to Mark. Mark talks to Ken telling how his sons are and what been happening in the town. Few hours later Ken is awake but in a daze. "Don't try to talk yet Ken, take it easy and sleep for awhile." Said the Doctor as Ken goes back to sleep.  The Doctor checks him over before he leaves. Mark heads home to let Helda and Quinn know how Ken is doing.

Mark enters the house Helda sees him enter. Mark tells them how Ken is doing. "It will take awhile before they know if he needs therapy or not." Finishes Mark. "I am glad he is awake. I have a funny feeling it could be Jim doing this." Said Helda. "Hard to say, I am sure Ken will let us know when he is stronger." replies Mark.

(A week went by.)

"Mark I am heading over to the hospital to check on Ken." Said Helda as she gets ready. "OK, I need to tend to the horses." Replies Mark as he watches Helda leave. It doesn't take that long to get there. The Doctor sees her. "Please follow me." The Doctor said to Helda as he leads her to Ken's room. "He doesn't need the therapy. He will be stiff for awhile he needs to get some exercise to loosen him up." Said the Doctor. "That is good." Replies Helda as they enter the room. Ken sees them enter. "How are you doing?" Helda asks Ken. "Good." replies Ken. Helda smiles as the Doctor explains what he needs to do. "I understand." Replies Ken. A nurse brings clothes for Ken. He gets them from the nurse and walks to the bathroom to change.  "Riding horse will help him as well." Said the Doctor to Helda. "Ok, He will enjoy that." Said Helda as Ken arrives back. After a few minutes they are back at Ken's place.  "Glad to be home." Said Ken as he sits down.

Dr. Ian enters. “Here are some books for you. There is TV as well.” Said Dr. Ian to Ken. “Thanks it will be a lot easier than looking out of the window.” Said Ken. Dr. Ian raises the bed so Ken is able to sit up. “Are you having hard time breathing?” Dr. Ian asks Ken. “A little.” Said Ken to Dr. Ian. Dr. Ian gives Ken an oxygen mask to wear. “That will help you.” Said Dr. Ian to Ken.

Mark enters the room. “How are you doing?” Mark asks Ken. “Good, it will be a long time in bed for me.” Said Ken to Mark. Mark tells him everything is happening at home. “Wow that is fast.” Said Ken to Mark. “I agree as well, the vet is going to check them over tomorrow. Before I forget that private eye is hanging around again. I already called Ace to deal with him. If is the same one we don’t need him or your uncle know about your pregnancies at all.” Said Mark. “I agree. I don’t want my kids to know him at all. Not the way I was treated there.” Said Ken. Mark nods his head in agreement. Dr. Ian enters he checks Ken over. “I want you to rest for awhile Ken.” Said Dr. Ian to Ken. “OK, keep me inform Mark. Can you let Sam know as well?” Ken asks Mark. “Will do. I will drop by tomorrow.” Said Mark as he leaves.

(Next Day.)

Sam and Mark enter Ken’s room. “Hey, how is it going?” Ken asks them when he sees them enter. “Good, the horses are doing fine. I am starting to look for some that we can breed them.”Said Mark to Ken. “That is good. Any news about that private eye that been hanging around?” Ken asks Mark. “Ace was able to get rid of him again. He is sure wants to talk to you badly.” Said Sam as he sits down. “I wish he will take the message and leave here for good.” Said Ken as he tries to get comfortable. “He will learn the hard way.” Said Mark. “Are you in pain Ken?” Sam asks Ken. “I can’t get comfortable at all.” Said Ken. “I will get Dr. Ian.” Said Mark as he leaves. Few minutes later Dr. Ian is there. “I am going to check you over.” Said Dr. Ian to Ken. Sam and Mark leave the room. “I think Ken is having twins. I never had seen any one that big before.” Said Sam as he sits down to wait. “I agree.” Replies Mark.

(Later.)

Mark sees Dr. Ian leaving Ken’s room. “How is Ken?” Sam asks Dr. Ian. “He went into labor a bit too early. I have given him something to stop it. I am hoping he will be closer to his due date. If he goes into labor again then we will have to deliver the baby.” Said Dr. Ian to Sam and Mark. “Do you think he might have twins?” Sam asks Dr. Ian. “He might, I have been checking that out and I been seeing only one.” Said Dr. Ian. “How is he holding up?” Sam asks Dr. Ian. “Good right now, he is sleeping now.  I will keep an eye on him now.” Replies Dr. Ian.

(Next Day.)

Sam enters Ken’s room. “How are you feeling?” Sam asks Ken. “Good, I didn’t like that I am almost went into labor yesterday.” Said Ken to Sam. “I am glad he was able to stop it.” Said Sam. They talk for awhile until Dr. Ian enters. “Just a check up.” Said Dr. Ian as he looks over Ken. He lowers the bed so he works better. Few minutes later he is done. “I don’t like that look.” Said Ken to Dr. Ian. “You might have you baby early.” Said Dr. Ian to Ken. Ken was shocked to hear this. “When are you planning to do it?” Sam asks Dr. Ian. “Later tonight, I need to setup the room and give Ken some elixirs as well.” Said Dr. Ian as he explains what he is doing. “So it won’t knock me out?” Ken asks Dr. Ian. “No, after the baby is born then I will unless there is a problem then I will have to sedate you.” Said Dr. Ian as he gives Ken the first elixirs.

“How fast do the elixirs work?” Ken asks Dr. Ian. “Pretty fast, you won’t able to move or feel anything as well.” Said Dr. Ian to Ken. They talk for awhile. “I can’t move.” Said Ken to Dr. Ian. Dr. Ian checks Ken over. “Are you able to feel this?” Dr. Ian asks Ken as he pokes Ken. “No I can’t.” Replies Ken. “I am going to going to set up the room.” Said Dr. Ian as he leaves.  Ken and Sam talks until a nurse enter. “Dr. Ian is ready for Ken.” She said as she wheels Ken away. Sam follows until they reached the room. “Good luck Ken.” Said Sam as they wheeled Ken inside. Once inside Dr. Ian explains what is going on. “You will be sleepy but not out cold. Unless there are problems.” Said Dr. Ian as he works on Ken. “Once I deliver your baby I will put you under.” Said Dr. Ian as he starts to work.

(Three hours later.)

“Ken can you hear me?” Dr. Ian asks Ken. “Yes I can.” Said Ken to Dr. Ian. “This is the first for us. You had four babies, they are healthy.”Said Dr. Ian. Ken was shock to hear this. “I am still going to put you under. I will let Sam and Mark knows once you are sleep.” Said Dr. Ian as he gives Ken the sedative. In few minutes later Ken is asleep. The nurses move Ken back to his room. Dr. Ian went to find Mark and Sam. He locates them in the waiting room. “How did it go?” Mark asks Dr. Ian once he sees him enter. “Good, Ken is sleeping now. He had a first for us. He had four babies. That is why he was big.” Said Dr. Ian. Both Sam and Mark were in shock to hear this. “Are we able to see them?” Sam asks Dr. Ian. “Yes, please follow me.” Said Dr. Ian as he leads them to the nursery. “How long will Ken will be under?” Mark asks Dr. Ian. Dr Ian tells them. “That is good.” Said Sam.

(Two days went by.)

Sam and Mark enter Ken’s room. They see him awake. “How are you feeling?” Mark asks Ken. “Good.  I will be happy to be home.” Said Ken to them. “I don’t blame you; have any idea for names for your sons?” Mark asks Ken. “Yes, Adam, Troy, Peter and Mike.” Replies Ken.  Dr. Ian enters. “Going to check you over then you can go home. Your sons need to stay here until tomorrow.” Said Dr. Ian as he checks Ken over. Once he is done he leaves. “We can stop to get more cribs.” Said Mark to Ken. “Good idea, I was surprised that I had that many too.” Replies Ken as he gets up.

(Two Days went by.)

Ken enters the hospital. “Glad to bring your son’s home?” Mark asks Ken. “Yes, it will be crazy for awhile until I have a routine down.” Replies Ken as they enter the building. He asks for Dr. Ian. Few minutes later Dr. Ian is there. He leads them to the nursery. Ken smiles when he sees his sons. The nurses bring them out. “They are all healthy.”Said Dr. Ian to Ken. “I am glad; I am still in shock that I had four. I know I don’t have the twin’s gene.” Said Ken as he puts them in the baby carriers. “You don’t need the gene to have twins. It happens to people.” Replies Dr. Ian as he walks with to the doors. “Thanks again Dr. Ian.” Said Ken as he and Mark load them into the car. Sam drives Ken back home. “If you need anything let me know.” Said Sam as he helps Ken to bring in his sons. “OK, thanks again.” Said Ken as he puts them into their cribs. Then he walks Sam to the door. “Thanks for the help to bring us home.” Said Ken as Sam leaves.

The phone rings, Ken went to answer it. He talks for awhile then he hangs up. “That is strange.” Said Ken as he walks into the kitchen. “What is it?” Mark asks Ken. Ken tells him. “That is strange. Are you planning to talk to this one?” Mark asks Ken. “Yes, this one went thru John, and we can use his office.” Said Ken as he sits down. “I just hope it isn’t your uncle trying to lure you back.” Said Mark as he makes lunch. “I agree. I sure don’t want my kids to know him at all. Not the way he treated me.” Replies Ken as he thinks back to his childhood. “What time are you meeting John?” Mark asks Ken. “At two.” Replies Ken.

(Later at John’s office.)

“It is nice to see you again Ken.” Said John as Ken enters the office. “Thanks.” Said Ken as he shakes hands with John. “Follow me. He will explain it better than me.” Said John as he leads the way. Ken follows John to his inner office.  John opens the door they enter. “Ken this is Ian.” Said John to Ken. “Nice to meet you Ken.” Said Ian to Ken. “Same here.” Said Ken. Ian explains why he is there. “My mom was a twin?” Said Ken as Ian finished talking. “Yes, Gail and Helda are identical twins. Gail married she move here with her husband. They also had a brother named Jim.”Said Ian to Ken.

“I was raised by him.” Said Ken as he explained how he was raised by him. “That is shocking. Helda wants to meet you. She can explain more of your family history.” Said Ian to Ken. “I always wonder what my history is as well.” Said Ken to Ian.  “She wants to meet you. We can set a day and time when you can meet her.” Replies Ian. Ken was shocked to hear this. “I would love to meet her.” Said Ken to Ian. Ian smiles at this. They set up at day and a time for the meeting. John walks Ken to the door. “I am sure Helda can tell you more about your family. It came a surprise to me as well.” Said John as they shake hands. “It sure has me as well.” Said Ken as he leaves.

(Later.)

Mark sees Ken enter the house. “How did it go?” Mark asks Ken. “Good. I just found out my mom was a twin.” Ken said as he tells Mark what he learn from Ian. Mark was surprised as well. “She never talked about her family that much.” Said Mark to Ken. “I am sure she had her reasons.” Said Ken. Ken went to check on his sons and sees them still sleeping he returns. “I know she will be in shock when she hears that I gave birth to my sons.” Said Ken. “I agree unless she knows about it.” Replies Mark as he gets stuff ready for the horses.

(Later.)

The door bell goes. Ken went to answer it. “You must be Helda.” Ken asks her. “Yes, I am, and then you are Ken?” Helda asks Ken. “I am, please come in.” Ken said as he motions them inside. “This is my son Quinn.” Said Helda as she introduces him to Ken. “Nice to meet you.” Said Quinn. "Want anything to drink?" Ken asks them. "Sure and thanks." Said Helda and Quinn at the same time. Ken went to bring the drinks for them. "I can tell you are wondering about our family history." Said Helda to Ken. Ken nods his head yes. She explains their history. "Gail was in love with Trent, He treated her with kindness and respect. She was so happy when she is around with him. Our brother Jim was pretty mean he didn't like Trent or any the guys I went out with. He wanted his friends to be our spouse.  Our parents even tried to stop him trying to control over us. When Gail and I became of age we moved out and married the guys we fell in love with. My husband and I found a job that keeps us moving, we kept in touch with Gail and our parents. We both refuse to talk to Jim especially when he tried to ruin our marriage. I had Quinn once we decide to live in one of the city we loved. Gail told me she was expecting. I was happy for her. I knew she will be a great mom." Said Helda.

Ken was shocked to hear this. "I have no idea how Jim found out. Gail was upset when she called me that he was trying to harm her and her unborn child. Trent was able to scare him away. She was so happy when she had you. The doctors had to keep you over night just to keep an eye out on you. During the night someone grab you we have no idea who did. We found out when Gail went to pick you up. The police tried to find you with no success. The only thing they did find out was the look of the person." Finishes Helda to Ken. Ken was in totally shock to hear this. He fills them in who raised him. "He was trying to do the same thing to me. He kept saying that my parents didn't want me at all." Said Ken.

"There is a private eye that he hired to find me and my guess to bring me back there." Finishes Ken. "That sounds like Jim. He thinks he can rule over us. He also didn't like Trent job as well." Said Helda as she explains what Trent job was. "That sounds cool. Mark and I open a horse retreat here." Said Ken as he explains his idea was. "One thing I was happy about that he made me have horseback riding. I always said I wanted to practice and he would let me. I even had a part time job there. He didn't know about it." Said Ken.  Quinn and Helda were shocked what they heard. "My mom had diaries here that you can read if you want. I also learned that my dad wanted to meet the aliens as well." Replies Ken.

"Yes he did. Gail was supportive to him when he was stargazing at night. When he became ill it broke his heart that he couldn't do it anymore. After he passes away Gail became heartbroken. She tried to live normal but she couldn't she passed away few months after Trent." Said Helda.  Ken hears his sons crying. "I'll be right back." Said Ken as he gets up. Helda and Quinn looks at him confused. Few minutes later Mark and Ken bring out his sons. Helda and Quinn were shock to see them. "They are cute." Said Quinn as he looks at them. "What are their names?" Helda asks Ken.  "Adam, Troy, Peter and Mike. Do you want to hold them?" Replies Ken. "Yes please." Said Quinn and Helda as Mark and Ken put them in their lap.

(Three days went by.)

Dr. Ian enters and he checks Ken over again. "You are free to go. You are expecting. I want you to have checks ups, it won't this kind at all." Said Dr. Ian to Ken. "OK, it sure feels good after that sleep." Said Ken as he gets up. Dr. Ian smiles at this as he leaves.  Ken gets dressed as Sam enters the room. "Are you ready to head home?" Sam asks Ken. "Yes I am." Said Ken as he follows Sam. Sam takes Ken home and Mark sees Ken arriving. "Glad to see you are at home. Sam has kept me up to date." Said Mark to Ken.

There was a knock on the door. Mark went to answer it. Mark brings the sheriff into the kitchen. "Ken this is Sheriff Ace. He has heard about you." Said Mark as he introduces them. "Nice to meet you." Said Ken to Sheriff Ace. "Same here" He replies. "Want anything to drink Ace?" Mark asks him. "Sure, I hear you are Trent and Gail son. News travels in this town real fast. Plus I wanted to meet you as well." Said Ace to Ken.

"Thanks, I am. I hear great things about my parents. I wished I was able to meet them." Said Ken to Ace. "They were loved here everyone loved them. I can tell you stories about them and what they did for this town." Said Ace to Ken. Ken smiles at this. He tells where he grew up and who raised him. "I sure don't want anything more with him at all." Said Ken to Ace. "By the sound by him that he is a mean person. If he does find you here let me know and I can deal with him. There will be no one here that will let him do that to you. I will suggest hire a lawyer as well." Said Ace to Ken. "Good idea. I already love this town and it feels like home to me." Said Ken to Ace. Mark returns with the drinks. They drink up and have small talk until all the drinks are done. "If you need anything let me know." Said Ace as he leaves.

"Do you think your uncle will try to find you?" Mark asks Ken. "I have no idea; I know I don't want to see him again. Not the way he treated me." Said Ken. "I would hire the lawyer that your parents had he is the top one here." Suggest Sam. "I agree, I will call him and see what I need to do." Said Ken as he calls John. He talks for awhile then he hangs up. "That was easy, if my uncle does try to contact me he has to go thru my lawyer." Said Ken to the others. "That is good. You look beat Ken." Said Sam as he looks at Ken. "I am. I'm going to have a lie down for awhile." Said Ken. "Good idea, I will walk myself out." Said Sam as he leaves.

(Two months went by.)

Ken comes downstairs and sees Mark working in the kitchen. "Smells good Mark." Said Ken as he sits down. "Thanks, how are you feeling?" Mark asks Ken. "Good, I sure feel the baby move." Said Ken as Mark serves him. "I can believe that. What time are you appointment?" Mark asks Ken. "At one. Want to come with me?" Ken asks Mark. "Sure." Said Mark as he eats as well. After Mark is done eating he cleans up. Then he and Ken read before they head out to Ken appointment.

(Later.)

Ken and Mark enter the hospital. Ken talks to the lady at the desk. She tells him to sit down and wait for Dr. Ian. Few minutes later Dr. Ian comes out. Ken introduce Mark as Dr. Ian leads him to the examine room. "Any problems?" Dr. Ian asks Ken. "No." Said Ken to Dr. Ian. "That is good. Please take off your shirt and lie down." Said Dr. Ian to Ken. Ken does what he was told. "This will be cold."Said Dr. Ian to Ken as he puts the gel on Ken. "It is cold." Said Ken as he feels it.  Dr. Ian checks the baby over after he is done he wipes off the gel. Ken stands up and puts his shirt back on. "There is no problem at all. We will wait another two months or so for another check up." Said Dr. Ian to Ken. "OK. Thanks again Dr. Ian." Said Ken as he and Mark leaves. "That doesn’t seem to hurt." Said Mark to Ken. "No, when I was here the first time I had to into an elixirs coma for an x-ray and a check up. I don't remember that at all." Said Ken to Mark.  They arrive back at home. Ken went to grab a book before he sat down the phone rings. He put his book down and answers the phone. He talks for a bit then he hangs up.

"By your face it isn't good news." Said Mark to Ken. "No, somehow a private eye who works for my uncle has found me. He wants me to meet him." Said Ken to Mark. "Oh boy, I would call Ace and your lawyer to see what they say." Said Mark. Ken nods his head as he calls Ace. He tells Ace what is happening after a few minutes later he calls his lawyer, he talks to him for a few minutes then he hangs up. "The lawyer will contact this private eye and deal with him." Said Ken as he picks up his book. "Ace will keep an eye out for him as well. I don't want him here at all." Said Ken. "I agree I sure don't want to meet him at all." Said Mark as he goes and do his chores.

There was a knock on the door. Mark went to answer it. Ken hears an argument at the door before Mark closes the door on the person. "That didn't sound good." Said Ken as he notices Mark enter the room. "It was that private eye. He wanted to come in and talk to you. I said no and he wouldn't listen. I am calling Ace to get him off the property." Said Mark as he calls Ace.  "Is he still here?" Ken asks Mark. "Yes, he isn't leaving. Here comes Ace."Said Mark as he watches Ace arriving.  "I hope he can make him leave." Said Ken to Mark. "Me too." Said Mark as he continues watching.

Few minutes later Mark sees the private eye leaves. Ace comes to the door. Mark opens the door to let him in. "How on earth did he find this place? I kept the address and phone number private." Said Ken to Ace. "He found out somehow. He was hired by your uncle to bring you back to his place. I told him to leave on his own or I will put him into jail. He got angry and he left. I will keep an eye out on him. I can force him to leave town." Said Ace to Ken. "Good, I also called my lawyer too he can deal with him. I sure don't want to go back there." Said Ken to Ace and Mark. "I don't blame you there. If you have any more problems with him let me know." Said Ace to Ken as he leaves.

"Sometimes I wonder what my uncle is up too." Said Ken to Mark. "By the stuff you told me it won't be too good. He won't be welcome here at all. We don't treat people like that." Replies Mark. "I agree, the way he treated me and all that stuff. He never gave me the respect that I wanted."Said Ken as he put the book away. "It looks like you are a bit restless." Said Mark. "I am. Going for a walk. You can come as well." Said Ken as he gets ready. "Sure." Said Mark as he stops what he is doing and follows Ken.

(Another two months went by.)

"Jorge called while you were sleeping he wants you to go over there." Said Mark as he cleans up. "OK, I will be heading over there." Said Ken as he gets ready to leave. It takes him awhile to get there. Once he is there he knocks on the door. Jorge opens the door and let's Ken inside. "Glad you made it over Ken. Let sit somewhere. It must be hard standing." Said Jorge to Ken. "It is." Said Ken as he follows Jorge. Jorge leads him to a library and Ken sits down. "I was surprised that you got abducted awhile back. How does it feel?" Jorge asks Ken. "Weird, but I won’t change it at all. I don't remember what they did to me nor I want to." Said Ken to Jorge.

Jorge smiles at this. "No one does.  How far are you?" Jorge asks Ken. Ken tells him. "Dr. Ian is a good doctor he has help the others as well. You look bigger than the other males that got abducted." Said Jorge. "Could be. It feel weird I feel someone both sides at once. Later today I have a check up at the hospital. He might be able to tell." Said Ken to Jorge. "He might, is he going to knock you out?" Jorge asks Ken. "Yes, I have no idea if is the same one I had before or a different one." Said Ken to Jorge. They talk for awhile until Ken notices the time. "My appointment is at three o'clock." Said Ken to Jorge. "I will drive you; it will be easier for you." Said Jorge to Ken as he leads him to his car.

(At the hospital)

Ken talks to the lady at the desk. “He will be here shortly.” She said as she pages him in a few minutes Dr. Ian is there. “Follow me.” Said Dr. Ian to Ken and Jorge. He leads them into a room. Before you sit down I am going to measure you.” Said Dr. Ian as he gets a measuring tape. Ken takes off his shirt as Dr. Ian measures him. Jorge helps Ken onto the table. “I am not going to put in the coma cause of the size you are. I am going to give you a light dose of sedative." Said Dr. Ian.  “OK, when do you want to do it?” Ken asks him. “Now, I have the room ready.” Said Dr. Ian as he and Jorge help Ken up.

Dr. Ian leads them into the room. Ken puts on the gown and lies down on the bed. “How fast does it work?” Ken asks Dr. Ian as he watches him work. “Pretty fast. I will use the relax elixirs first then I will use the sedative.” Said Dr. Ian as he gives Ken the needle. Dr Ian watches and sees Ken in a relax state. “I am giving you the sedative now. It will work fast.” Said Dr. Ian as he gives Ken the needle. Two minutes later Ken is asleep.  “How long will it take?” Jorge asks Dr. Ian. “Not long.” He replies as he wheels Ken out of the room

(Next Day.)

“How do you feel Ken?” Jorge asks Ken. “Good, tired of lying down thou.” Said Ken. Dr. Ian enters the room. “I am going to check you over and you are free to go. I want you to take it easy for now on. If you are in any kind of pain come in.” Said Dr. Ian to Ken “OK, will do.” Said Ken. Few minutes later Dr. Ian is done. He and Jorge help Ken up. They leave on the way Ken and Jorge talks until he gets to Ken’s home. “Thanks for coming with me and driving me home.” Said Ken to Jorge. “No problem, I better head out. Please keep me inform as well.” Said Jorge to Ken. “I will.” Said Ken as Jorge drives off.

Mark sees him and comes out. “How was your exam went?” Marks ask Ken as they walk toward the house. “Good. Dr. Ian has no idea why I am so big. We need to wait and see.” Said Ken as he tells Mark everything he found out. “At least you are healthy and the baby as well.” Said Mark as they enter the house. “I agree I have an idea that I want to do.” Said Ken as he tells Mark his idea. “I love the idea, raise and sell horse and let the retire ones live here as well. I am sure the people who has the retire race horses will love them here instead of killing them. One question do you know anything about horses?” Mark asks Ken.

“Yes, one thing I did like that my uncle did was to learn about horses and I even took riding lessons as well.” Said Ken. Mark smiles at this. “This place is big enough for them. There is a barn here as well. We can start get this place ready. I know you are supposed to take it easy. We can make fliers explain what we are doing. They can visit their horses as well if they want.” Said Mark. “I hope it works.” Said Ken as he sits down. “I am sure it will. I will help as well. I know a vet that will help as well.” Said Mark. Ken smiles at this. “I am going to lay down for a bit.” Said Ken. “OK, you look like you are beat.” Said Mark as he watches Ken leave.

(A month went by.)

“Are you in pain?” Mark asks Ken. “No, walking is getting a bit hard now.” Said Ken as he waddles in and sits down. “I can believe that. I am going out for supplies I will see if the hospital can lend you a wheel chair.” Said Mark. “Good idea. It will be easier for me to get around until I have my baby.” Said Ken as Mark leaves.

(Later.)

Ken sees Mark entering the house with the chair. “Dr. Ian wants you to use this when you go out. He still wants you to walk as well. He doesn’t want you to get stiff as well.” Said Mark to Ken. “OK, how did you make out with the supplies?” Ken asks Him “Good, I also talked to the vet as well and people at the race track. They loved the idea that you have. They wanted something like this for a long time. They will talk to the owners about it and let us know.” Said Mark to Ken, Ken smiles at this.

“I hope the owners will like the idea. Killing them isn’t an answer.” Said Ken to Mark. “I agree they can live here.” Said Mark as he makes lunch for them. The phone starts to ring. Mark went to answer it. He talks for awhile then he hangs up. “Good news?” Ken asks Mark. “Yes, that was the race track manger and it is a go for us. The owners love the idea about us having the retired horses. They want to inspect the place as well.” Said Mark to Ken. “That is fine; I would do the same thing as well. You might have to show them.” Said Ken. “Yes, you still can meet them. They are coming this afternoon.” Said Mark.

(Later in the afternoon.)

The doorbell went Mark went to answer it. He brings them in. Mark introduces them to Ken. “We are happy that you and Mark are doing this. We don’t like what we been doing in the past.” Said Don to Ken. “You’re welcome, it will nice to see them around longer as well.” Said Ken. “I will show you around the place where we are going to keep the horses.” Said Mark as he leads them where the field is. Few minutes later they return. “It is a great place for them and there is room enough for the horses.” Said Don. Ken smiles at this as they shake hands.

(Another three months went by.)

Mark sees Ken entering the living room. “Are you in some pain?”Mark asks Ken. “Yes, I am also having hard time breathing as well.” Replies Ken as he sits down. “Stay there I am going to call Dr. Ian.” Said Mark as he calls the hospital. Few minutes later Dr. Ian is there. “Are you in pain?” Dr. Ian asks Ken. “Yes I am.” Replies Ken to Dr. Ian. Dr. Ian checks Ken over. “You must have bed rest until your due date. I want you in the hospital for it.” Said Dr. Ian as he calls for an ambulance.  Few minutes later Ken is at the hospital. “This will be a long time in bed.” Said Ken as he gets into bed. “I agree, it will be easier to monitor you here than at your home.” Said Dr. Ian to Ken.

Chapter 3

 Chapter 3

Ken tries to look around the ship. The aliens gave him some paralyzed ray that made him not able to move. Two of the aliens carry Ken to a table and they knock him out. They do their thing and give him elixirs that make him not remember anything. They wake him up and they bring him back to his home and throw him out of the ship. Mark comes running when he heard the ship coming back. He watches Ken coming out and sees him coming out the ship he falls on his back and the ship leaves. Mark sees that Ken is in a daze. He helps him into the house and into bed. Ken falls into a deep sleep. Mark covers him up and he heads to bed.

(Next morning.)

Mark went to check on Ken. He sees him still asleep. The phone rings and Mark went to answer it. He talks for awhile then he hangs up. Then he does his chores. Few minutes later Ken wakes up. He looks around and notices he is still dressed. He gets up and goes have a shower and gets dressed he heads downstairs into the kitchen Mark sees him enter. "How did you sleep?" Mark asks Ken. "Good, I don't really remember what happen last night." Said Ken to Mark. "You got abducted last night. You been gone for awhile. What happen up there?" Mark asks Ken.

Ken thinks back. "I remember there was this light that was picking me up. Then a door way with a smoke that made me not able to move. Then they knock me out. I don't remember anything else after that." Said Ken to Mark. Mark tells him what he saw when he heard the ship return. "You were in a daze that you could hardly walk on your own. You totally went into a deep sleep after I help you into bed." Said Mark. Ken was surprised at this.

"Are you hungry?" Mark asks Ken. "Yes I am." Said Ken as he sits down. Mark makes some breakfast. "Sam called he wants you to call him back." Said Mark as he cooks breakfast. "OK, I am sure he wants to hang out or something." Said Ken as Mark serves breakfast. They eat and talk about stuff. Ken helps cleans up and he want to call Sam. He talks to Sam for awhile then he hangs up.  Ken runs to the bathroom. Mark watches Ken in confused look. Ken returns and sits down. "It isn't your cooking. It could be from the abduction." Said Ken.

"You could be right."Said Mark. They hear a knock on the door. Mark went to answer it. Mark brings Sam into the kitchen. "Are you too some exploring Ken?" Sam asks Ken. "Sure, but first I want to tell you something." Said Ken as he tells Sam what he did last night. Sam was amazed at this. "I am sure you will be a great parent Ken." Said Sam as he leads Ken outside.  "I would check yourself check over to see if you are expecting. They do walk ins as well." Said Sam.

"I will after this." Said Ken as they walk the town. Sam shows him more places around town. Then they head to the male hospital. They walk in. Sam talks to the lady at the desk. She tells them to sit down and wait. They find seats to sit and talk until a nurse shows up. "Please follow me." Said a nurse to Ken and Sam. They get up and follow her to a room. "Who got abducted?" She asks them. "I did." Said Ken to the nurse. "OK, please put these on and wait on the examine table." Said the nurse as she hands Ken the gown. He takes them and goes into the change room to change, then he went on the examine table. Sam is there sitting on a chair. Few minutes later a doctor shows up.

"I am Dr. Ian. Tell me when you got abducted?" Dr. Ian asks Ken. Ken tells him. "I am going to do an exam on you. To make sure you are healthy and find out if you are expecting." Said Dr. Ian as he gets stuff ready.  He also explains what he needs to do.  "I need to put you in a coma as well. Some of the tests will hurt it is easier if you are sleep for it. Once you are under I will do an x-ray as well." Said Dr. Ian to Ken. "I understand. Do I need to have a check up later on as well?" Ken asks Dr. Ian.

"Yes, to make sure the fetus is growing and healthy."Said Dr. Ian as he walks toward Ken. "How long will I be out for?" Ken asks Dr. Ian. "Two days. I want to make sure you are asleep before I do the exam on you. You will stay here until that is done. Your friend can visit as well and he can watch as well. Please lay down." Said Dr. Ian to Ken. Ken lies down and Dr. Ian checks over Ken. He tells Ken to sit up and sign some papers. "How will I get the elixirs?" Ken asks Dr. Ian. "By an IV. Have you eaten today?" Dr. Ian asks Ken. "Yes, only breakfast." Said Ken.

"OK, put this robe on and I will lead you to your room." Said Dr. Ian as he hands Ken the robe. He puts it on and he and Sam follow Dr. Ian to his room. "Later tonight I will start the IV. No food at all you can have water only. "Said Dr. Ian as he leaves.  "I wonder if all males go thru this." Said Ken to Sam. "They do. It is a safe for you and the unborn child." Said Sam to Ken. They talk for awhile until a nurse comes in. "I need to check his temp and all the other stuff." She said as she gets to work. Two minutes later she is done. "I guess that is for the elixirs that I am going to get." Said Ken as the nurse leaves. "Could be. If you decide to do this again you will have to go thru this again." Said Sam. Ken nods his head in agreement. "I don't mind. I wanted children. I know I will treat them with respect and kindness." Said Ken. Sam smiles at this.

(Later that night.)

"I am back Ken. I went to tell Mark what is happening to you." Said Sam as he sits down beside Ken's bed. "Thanks, I didn't realize that I had to stay overnight for this exam." Said Ken. "It probably my fault I didn't tell you." Said Sam. "That is OK." Said Ken as he notices Dr. Ian and a nurse enters the room. "I will start the IV and explain each elixir to you." Said Dr. Ian as he gets the IV ready. After a few minutes he is ready. "The first elixirs will relax you and make you a bit dizzy. It will take awhile for these elixirs to work. That is why I like doing it during the night. After you are feeling dizzy then I will use other elixir that makes you paralyzed. That works pretty fast, and then the other elixirs will make you blind and not able to talk. I will be putting you on a breathing machine before I totally put you under." Said Dr. Ian as he starts the first elixirs. "Your friend can stay overnight as well. There will nurse and other doctors checking you over night." Said Dr. Ian to Ken as he works on Ken.  "I would suggest that you will lie down." Said Dr. Ian as he starts the drip on the IV. Ken lies down. Dr. Ian leaves. Sam and Ken talks for awhile. Same notices how Ken is relax.

"You seem to be relaxing Ken." Said Sam. "I am I guess the elixirs is doing that. Are you planning to stay overnight?" Ken asks Sam. "Yes I am I am sure you want the company." Said Sam. "I do, thanks again Sam." Said Ken. Sam smiles at this. "We better get some rest." Said Sam as he climbs into his bed. "Good idea." Said Ken as he goes to sleep. During the night nurses and doctors are checking on Ken.

(Next day.)

Ken wakes up. "If you are eating please not in front of me." Said Ken to Sam. "I already ate before you woke up. How are you feeling?" Same asks Ken. "Good, I am starting to feel dizzy but not much." Said Ken to Sam. Dr. Ian comes in and he checks Ken over. "I am giving you a bit more of the elixirs. It will make you a bit dizzier now." Said Dr. Ian as he gives Ken more of the elixirs. He leaves to check other patients as well. Sam and Ken talks for a bit. "Is the room spinning?" Ken asks Sam. "No, relax Ken it is the elixirs." Said Sam.

Dr. Ian returns. "Are you feeling a bit dizzy?" He asks Ken. "Yes I am." Said Ken to Dr. Ian. "I am going to start the other elixirs now and give you another relax elixirs as well. I want you to keep moving your arms and legs. The elixirs will make them heavy then you won't able to move them." Said Dr. Ian as he watches Ken for a bit. Ken does what Dr. Ian said to do. He and Sam talk as Ken moves his limbs. After ten minutes he isn't able to move. Dr. Ian saw that and he starts the other elixirs.

"These elixirs will make you blind and not able to talk. Once that happens I will be putting a tube to help you breath, a machine will kick in once it sense you are having problems breathing, once that happens I will start the sedatives it will make you sleepy but wont knock you out. I will do that tomorrow." Said Dr. Ian as he watches Ken. Few minutes later Ken keeps blinking. "Everything it getting blurry." Said Ken to Dr. Ian. "OK, let me know when you can't see anything." Said Dr. Ian to Ken.  Two minutes later. "Everything is black." Said Ken.

"OK, talk until you can't." Said Dr. Ian as he gives more elixirs in Ken's IV. Ken talks to Sam until he can't. "Take it easy Ken; blink one for yes and two for no. Do you understand?" Said Dr. Ian. Ken blinks one for yes. "I am going to put a tube down your throat so the machine can help you breath. You won't feel anything." Said Dr. Ian as he gets to work. "How fast does it work?" Sam asks Dr. Ian. "Pretty fast. We will hear the machine turn on." Said Dr. Ian. They watch Ken for a bit. Dr. Ian keeps checking Ken process until they hear the machine turn on.

"This last elixir I am giving Ken is to make him sleepy. It won't put him to sleep yet. I don't want to overdo it today." Said Dr. Ian as he gives Ken's IV another elixir.  Few minutes later Dr. Ian sees how sleepy Ken has become. "Tomorrow I will put him under." Said Dr. Ian to Sam. "How long will he be in the coma for?" Sam asks Dr. Ian. Dr. Ian tells him. "He might not have to go thru this until he has his baby." Said Dr. Ian as he leaves.

(Next day.)

Dr. Ian enters Ken's room and he sees Sam there. "I am going to give him the last elixirs so he can go under. It is pretty fast then tomorrow I will do the exam and the x-ray in the morning then I will start to wake him up. It will take awhile for to him to wake up." Said Dr. Ian as he gives Ken the last elixirs. He and Sam watch Ken as he goes to sleep. Dr. Ian gives him another elixir. "That will keep him under." Said Dr. Ian as he checks Ken over again. "He looks in a relax state as well." Said Sam as he looks at Ken. "Yes, once he is a wake he will be weak and sleepy for awhile." Said Dr. Ian as he leaves.

(Next day.)

Dr. Ian and some nurses come in. Dr. Ian checks Ken over again then they take Ken to a room. Sam grabs a book to read while he reads. Three hours later they came back. "Ken is expecting it will be hard to tell what it is this early." Said Dr. Ian as he checks Ken over again. "OK, he will be happy for that." Said Sam. "Later tonight I will start waking him up. It will take a few days before he gets his strength back." Said Dr. Ian.  Sam goes back to his book. He reads into the evening. Dr. Ian arrives and he changes Ken's IV."I just started the elixirs. We won't know until the morning." Said Dr. Ian as he watched Ken before he leaves. Sam gets ready to go to bed.

During the night some doctors and nurse keeps checking on Ken.  In the morning Sam has his shower and gets dressed. Once he is out he notice Ken fighting the machine. He sees Dr. Ian enter. "I think Ken is fighting the machine." Said Sam to Dr. Ian as he checks Ken over. He takes out the tube and sees Ken is breathing in his own. "It will take awhile before the elixirs leave his system." Said Dr. Ian to Same.

(Three hours later.)

Sam notices Ken is awake. "How are you feeling?" Sam asks Ken. "Tired and thirsty." Said Ken a bit weakly. Dr. Ian enters and sees Ken is awake and he checks him over. "If he wants anything he can have it." Said Dr. Ian to Sam. "OK, I can help him with that." Said Sam as he pours Ken some water and helps him to drink it. Ken went back to sleep.

Chapter 2

“I wonder what the lawyer will say to me.” Said Ken as he follows Sam. “I am not too sure. I hope it is good news for you.” Said Sam. They walk in silence for awhile. After a few minutes they are at the lawyer office. They enter the building. Sam asks for the lawyer to the lady at the desk. She shows them in. “I have been expecting you. Mary-Jo called to let me know that you were coming.” Said John to Ken and Sam. “Thanks.” Said Ken. John tells him about the will. Ken was shocked to hear this. “The house that we passed that was my parents?” Ken asks John. “It is your father Trent passed away from a sickness he had. Gail passed away from a broken heart.” Said John as he hands Ken the keys. “They had a butler that they hired to keep the place up. They guessed you might look for them.” Said John

“I guess you want to check it out. But it is getting a bit late. I would check it over tomorrow.”Said Sam. “I agree plus I was driving all day as well. I still don’t believe this as well.” Said Ken as he shakes John’s hand and Sam and Ken leaves. Sam walks Ken to his hotel.  “Here I will give you my number. Call me if you want some company tomorrow.” Said Sam as he writes his number down for Ken. “Ok. Thanks again Sam, I wouldn’t get this far without you.”Said Ken as he shakes Sam hand as Sam leaves. Ken takes a quick shower and watch TV before bed.

(Next day.)

Ken has breakfast before he calls Sam. He pays his bill and finds a phone to call Sam. After a few minutes later Sam is there. “Are you ready?”Sam asks Ken. “Yes I am a bit scared thou.”Replies Ken as they head to the house. “I am sure it will be OK. It is my guess they will left you info about them inside the house. Or the person that works there might know more.” Said Sam as they reached the house. They both look at the house for a few minutes.  Ken sees someone coming towards them “Can I help you gentlemen?” asks the man to them Sam tells him what they learn from the lawyer. “You must be Trent son.” Said the man. “I am.” Said Ken to the man. “I am Mark; I worked for your parents when they lived here. I will show you around the place.” Said Mark as he leads them to the house. “The house is big.” Said Ken as he looks around the place. “It is. Everyone in town loved your parents. There is some information in the library.” Said Mark as he shows them inside the house.

“Thanks. Did you do the garden?” Ken asks Mark.  “Yes I did.” Mark Replies. “It is beautiful. I am not a gardener I want you to stay and look after that if you want.” Said Ken to Mark. “Thanks, your parents loved them too.” Replies Mark. After a five minutes Mark brings them back to the front door. “You can move in any time. I have a place that I live in.” Said Mark to Ken. “Thanks again Mark. Said Ken as Mark leaves.

“You don’t that much to move only the clothes you brought with you.”Said Sam. “Yes and this place are furnished and I like it as well.” Said Ken as he and Sam leaves to back the hotel so Ken can pay his bill and settle into his home. “Thanks for coming with me. It was easier to do it.” Said Ken to Sam. “No problem, Call me if you need anything.” Said Sam as they were back at the house. “I sure will.” Replies Ken as they shake hands. Sam leaves.

 

Ken unpacks his clothes into the bed room and the he heads to the library to check out the books. He has located his parents diary’s he starts reading them to find more info about them.  He is amazed what they did and about this town. After the tenth dairy he read he was amazed there are other people living here as well. “I wonder if Sam or Mark knows about this.” Thought Ken as he puts the diaries back. He heads towards the kitchen once he gets there he was surprised to see Mark there. “I am more than a gardener I also do the cooking as well.” Said Mark to Ken.

“That is good, I am an OK cook. It sure smells good.” Said Ken as he smells the food cooking. “Thanks. I hope you don’t mind.” Said Mark. “No I don’t mind. It will be nice to talk to you and other stuff as well. There are some questions I have.” Said Ken as he tells Mark what he read in the diaries. “The diaries that you read are correct. They hide when there are strangers around. They loved your parents. They will know you are their son once the word goes around. Tell me about yourself?” Mark asks Ken. Ken tells him where he grew up and how his uncle was trying to control him.

“That is really mean. I am glad you got away from him. He put tracer in the car?” Mark asks Ken. “He did on the way here I bought a new car and destroyed the one in my old car. I didn’t take any clothes that had tracers as well. I don’t want to see him or even talk to him at all.” Said Ken. “I don’t blame you there. Supper is ready.” Said Mark as he serves the supper. They head to the dining room. Mark tells him more about the town. “You are saying the males can get pregnant?” Ken asks Mark once Mark is done talking. “Yes, your father tried but he didn’t work he was getting older and they like young men to do it. It takes courage as well.” Said Mark

“I always love watching stars. I used to sneak to star gaze at night when there isn’t any clouds.” Said Ken. Mark smiles at this. “Your father did as well. There is also a hospital for men that get abducted as well. I am not that brave to do it I have friends that have been.” Said Mark. “That is different. Do the children know about that?” Ken asks Mark. “Yes and they understand it as well. Once they are old enough they want to get abducted as well. If they are married the wife’s are happy they do it too. In the morning I will introduce you to some of them.” Said Mark to Ken.

(Next day.)

Ken and Mark finishes breakfast and they clean up before they head out. Mark leads him to a place. “Stay here I will talk to them before I bring you in.” Said Mark as he knocks on the door. The door opens and Mark enters. Ken looks around the place waiting for Mark’s return. Two minutes later the door opens Mark and his friend comes out. “Mark tells me that you are Trent’s boy.” Said the man. “I am.” Said Ken to the man. “This is Jorge.” Said Mark.

“Nice to meet you. I am Ken.” Said Ken as he gives his hand to Jorge. Jorge takes it. “You treat others with respect.” Said Jorge to Ken. “Thanks. I don’t care what others look like or culture they want to treated the way they want with respect.” Said Ken. “I agree. You talk like your father. We have great stories of your parents. I am sure you have questions about us and them.” Said Jorge. Ken nods his head. Jorge smiles at this.

Ken asks his questions and Jorge answers them. Ken is amazed how it works. “There are a few men are expecting here. I am sure you will be amazed how they are.” Said Jorge to Ken. “Wow.” Replies Ken to Jorge. “I will show you.” Said Jorge as he gets up and leads Ken and Mark where they are. Ken is amazed how they look. “They seem to be happy.” Said Ken as he watches them. “They are. Sometimes a single male wants to raise them not worrying about marriage at all.” Said Jorge to Ken. They head back to the main room.

“It sounds interesting. How do they take the males?” Ken asks Jorge. “If you star gaze on a telescope for awhile you might get abducted it will take awhile.” Said Jorge to Ken. “Cool I might try it after I settle here for a bit.” Said Ken as he and Mark heads to the door. “Thanks for coming. You are welcome to come at any time.” Said Jorge as he walks with them.

“Did my dad get abducted?” Ken asks Mark. “No, he kept on trying to until his death. Your mom supported him when he was trying. You would love them.”Said Mark to Ken. “It sounds like they love living here. I still wonder why my uncle raised me instead of my parents.”Said Ken as they walk back to the house. “There are more diaries in the house. I will get them and it might answer your questions that way.” Said Mark as they enter the house. Mark went to get the other dairies for Ken. Ken looks to see a telescope outside. Mark returns with the dairies. “I hope this will help you.” Said Mark as he gives the box to Ken. “Me too. Thanks Mark.” Said Ken as he gets the boxes of diaries. He takes them and sits down and reads them.

After a few minutes he has learn why his uncle raised him. Mark enters the room. “Are you hungry?” Mark asks him. “Yes I am.” Said Ken as he gets up and he walks to the dining room. “Any luck with the diaries?”Mark asks Ken. “Yes, he took me when I was an infant. The one thing my uncle said they didn’t want me. Which it was not true. They were looking for me. Couple of times they almost found me.  He kept moving us so they won’t find me.”Said Ken as he sits down.  “I am glad you got away from him. I hope he won’t find you here.” Said Mark. “Same here and he can’t force me either.” Said Ken.

(Two months went by.)

“I still love it here.”Said Ken as he works on stuff here. Mark smiles at this. “Do you think I am crazy if I try to get abducted?” Said Ken to Mark. “No, I think I will go for it. You will make a great parent.” Said Mark. Ken smiles at this. “I know I will. I won’t treat my children like my uncle.” Said Ken as he gets stuff done around the house for awhile.  “Do you want some company while you do this?” Mark asks Ken. “Sure. I have no idea how long will it take.” Said Ken to Mark. “That is OK. I kept your father company as well.” Said Mark.

(Later that night.)

“It is a clear night.” Said Mark as he sets up some chairs for them. “That is good. I have no idea how long it will take.” Said Ken as he sets up the telescope.  He starts off looking at stars and up planets. “There are some cool stars and planets up there.”Said Ken as he watches them. “I am sure they are.” Said Mark as he looks up.  It was about two o’clock in the morning. Mark sees something flying over. “What is that?” Mark asks Ken. Ken brings the telescope where Mark is pointing. “It looks like a space ship.” Said Ken As he watches it. The space ship flies over Ken and uses a beam to lift Ken up in the air. Ken tries to hold but he couldn’t he lets go and he flies into the ship. Mark was amazed at this.

Chapter 1

 Chapter 1

 

“Kenneth where are you boy?” Uncle Jim shouted around the house. “I am coming Uncle Jim.” Said Ken as he walks over to his uncle. “I was just finishing the job you gave me.” Said Ken. “It should have taken you that long to do.” Said Uncle Jim to Ken. “The hose had a hole in it so I did a patch on it.” Said Ken. Uncle Jim looked at him. “As you know I invited some people for your party. I want you to behave and act like a gentleman as well.” Said Uncle Jim to Ken as he tells what he did. “OK, I will go and have a shower and get into my suit.” Said Ken as he head upstairs. Uncle Jim watches him leave. Then he goes and get ready as well.

(At the party.)

“What do you think of this party Kenneth?” Uncle Jim asks Ken. “Great.” Said Ken as he looks around the place. Uncle Jim smiles at this. “Have some fun and talk to some of the guests. Then we can have food and drinks.” Said Uncle Jim to Ken. Ken nods his head as he goes over and talks to the guests.  Uncle Jim instructs his servants to get the food ready for the big feast. After awhile the food is ready and the guests and Ken sit down for the feast. The servants serve the food they eat and chatted away until supper was done. Then the cake shows up and everyone sings happy birthday to Ken. One if the servants cut the cake and hands the cake to everyone. Few hours later they all head into the library where they talk until late at night.

(Next day.)

Ken is looking stuff to pack into his suitcase. His uncle has no idea that he is moving away from here and won’t return at all. He has everything he wants into the cases and he sneaks them into his car. “I am going to sell this one and buy a new one so my uncle won’t able to find me. If he does I will make a case against him.”Thought Ken to himself as he finishes packing his car. He locks it and double checks his room in case he misses anything. Then he grabs something to eat then he heads out. He has one last look at the house he grew up. “See ya I know I won’t miss this place at all.” Said Ken to himself as he drives off.

(Ten hours later)

Ken looks around the town and he sees a car dealership and he heads that way. He parks and he looks at the for the tracker after a few minutes later he has located it and able to destroy it. Then he starts to look at cars. A salesman comes over. “Can I help you?” He asks Ken. “Yes, I want to trade my old car for a new one.”Replies Ken. “Do you know what kind of car you want?” He replies to Ken. Ken looks around and locates two cars he wants to try out. He has located the sales man and he takes out the cars that he likes. After the test drive he picks the first car he saw. He sign papers and paid the car off and he leaves.

He drives on for awhile until he sees a food place. He stops and enters and orders his lunch, while he is eating he thinks back to his childhood and his uncle and shivers on the stuff he remembers. After he is done he heads back on the road he has no idea where he wants to go as long as it is far away from his uncle and his controlling ways. He passes small towns and cities not too sure which one he wants to live in. He knows that he won’t be controlling like his uncle and hopefully make friends with no problems. He notices it is getting dark out so he sees a motel and he stops there for the night.

(Next Day.)

He gets ready and has some breakfast before he pay for his room. Then he heads out on the road again he drives and sees signs of towns and cities still. He drives on he knows when he will be there once he sees it. After ten hours behind the wheel he sees a small town that seems really interest to him. He notices a motel and he parks his car and register there before he explores the town.

He sees a small dinner. He enters he sits at the counter. “Do you want a menu?” A waitress asks him. “Yes please.” Ken replies as she gives him a menu. He looks reads it and decide what he wants. He hears the other people talking about him but he ignores it. The waitress comes back. “Have you decided what you want?” She asks him. “Yes I have.” Ken replies as he tells her what he wants. She rights it down and goes her job with the other customers. “You are new here.” Said a man that just sat down beside Ken. “Yes, I just arrived here.” Replies Ken to the man.

“You look alike Trent.” Said the man. Ken looks at him confused. “Trent Holye?” The man said. “My last name is Holye. I don’t know any Trent.” Said Ken to the man. “You sure look like him and his wife Gail. I am Sam.” Sam Replies. “I am Ken. I really don’t know my parents. I was raise by a uncle that never told me anything about them.” Said Ken to Sam. “Are you planning to stay here?” Sam asks Ken. “Yes, I already fell in love with the town.” Replies Ken to Sam. Sam smiles at this. Sam tells what he knows about his parents. “I will bring you to the town hall and you can find more information there.” Said Sam to Ken. “Thanks Sam.”Said Ken as he sees his food arriving.

(Later.)

“I will introduce you to the people at the hall they will help you out.” Said Sam as they walk to the town hall. Ken looks around on the way. He sees a house on a hill. Sam notices Ken looking at the house. “That place been empty for awhile.” Said Sam to Ken. “It is? The yard still looks in great shape.” Said Ken. “I am sure there are some is looking after it.”Said Sam as they reached town hall. They enter the building and Sam leads Ken to a office. He knocks on a door. A lady opens it “This is our mayor Mary-Jo. This is Ken Holye. He is looking for information about his parents Trent and Gail Hoyle.”Said Sam to Mary-Jo. “Nice to meet you Ken. I knew your parents.” Said Mary-Jo to Ken. Ken was shocked to hear this.

“Please come in and I will tell you what I know about them.” Said Mary-Jo as she leads them inside. Ken tells her who raise him. “He never told me anything about them. Or why he raises me.” Said Ken to Mary-Jo. Mary-Jo tells him what they did and how they arrived here. “I know they were looking for a son. They never told me the reason either.” Said Mary-Jo to Ken. “My uncle kept moving so that is probably why.” Said Ken “Sam can you bring Ken to their lawyer, there is something he has for him.” Said Mary-Jo to Sam. “Sure thing.” Replies Sam. “Thanks for talking to me.” Said Ken to Mary-Jo. “No problem, I am hoping I will see you around here.” Replies Mary-Jo as Sam and Ken leaves.

Prologue

H

i my name is Kenneth. I prefer to be called Ken. I grew up with my Uncle Jim, I never knew my parents. Uncle Jim always told me never ask about them or there will be trouble for me. He has a temper which I saw once. I am curious who are my parents are.  In two days it will be my birthday and I am able to leave this place. I know I won’t be coming back at all, not the way I was treated from my Uncle and his friends. I wasn’t even allowed to have friends expect for the ones that my Uncle said I could.  I don’t really like them.

I know I want to find information about my parents as well.  I just hope my uncle won’t find out my plans once I am 21 years old I can do anything I want too. I lived here too long for me. I am sure he will do another party which it will be boring for me. I better go and hoping that it won’t be another party.
